It’s been a month since school restarted. What is life like on campus for students? What are they expecting in the new school year? Our BC Program journalists conducted some interviews recently. Let’s see what our student had to say!
Pre BC Cecilia
I am a new student in the BC Program and I want to get to know it quickly. I have also signed up for a number of clubs such as Frisbee, Tracker Project, Photography and a Business Club, hoping to develop my hobbies, improve my skills and make new friends. I have learnt to use the washing machine and, most importantly, how important it is to get along with my roommates. I’ve also decorated the home room with my classmates, which was very rewarding!
Pre BC Susan
I am adjusting to the new environment and life here. I focus on improving my English studies now to make sure I get all A grades, and to prepare for IELTS and some academic competitions. In terms of clubs, the teacher-student hockey game caught my interest last week. I have also signed up for Football, Business and Photography clubs. I hope I can continue to try new clubs next year. The BC Program provides a great platform for us, there are many activities, we can organize our own events, be peer tutors, etc. I believe my study in BC Program will be full and happy!

In terms of academic performance, I hope that I can get high scores in all exams through my efforts, and I can get 7 in IELTS. I think the learning atmosphere of the school is very good. At first, the IT and Drama classes were a little difficult for me, but the teachers and classmates are very friendly. They are happy to communicate and discuss with me!

I hope to get on well with my new classmates in the new school , and it worked as I planned! I am working towards straight As in my report card. There are a lot of activities in the BC program, so I hope that I will be able to keep a balance between work and play, and not put too much pressure on myself while still getting good marks.

I hope that I can build a good foundation in G10 for my future studies, and seek for help when I encounter problems. I’m not very social, but fortunately, everyone gets along well and I’ve made some friends here. I like group activities in PE and I hope to join BC’s Frisbee team!

G11 allowed me to meet more classmates from other classes and build good relationships with them. Being back on campus studying has given me a greater sense of communal closeness and more opportunities to interact with everyone. My homeroom teacher, Strawberry, has spoken to each student since the school opened to learn all the students’ situation, and offer encouragement and support. The student assembly held by the BC Program Principal, Ms.W, also made me realize the importance of balancing studies and activities. It has been a challenging year for all G11 students, but I believe we are ready to meet these challenges.

I think G11 is a year to work hard. All students should improve their learning attitude to meet heavy learning tasks and strive for excellent results. After the online courses, I have been back on campus for almost a month, listening to the teacher in classroom and learning with my classmates, and it makes me feel great.

In my last year at school, I would love to make more memories by participating in more activities with my friends. Meanwhile, as graduating students, we are facing the most crucial and stressful university application season. Even though I’m stressed, I’m also looking forward to this. I hope that, after all this hard work, we will enjoy the good results.

I hope to graduate with honour and be accepted by my favorite university. I want to get involved in as many school activities as possible, try things I haven’t done before, and have a wonderful school life without any regret. I still have a strange feeling of freshness and excitement after not taking classes offline for so long, and I prefer the atmosphere of being in classroom with classmates.

For the last year in the BC program, I hope to spend the year on campus and participate in various activities. At the same time, I also hope I can keep my score stable this year, and apply for my favorite university successfully. Coming back to the campus has been a great start.
